My local produce shop has been getting in some really nice Florida sweet corn for about a month or so. Decided to get a few for tonight's pork roasted dinner.

My local produce shop has been getting in some really nice Florida sweet corn for about a month or so. Decided to get a few for tonight's pork roasted dinner.

Ingredients

  1. 4corn on the cob
  2. Salt your preferd amount
  3. Unsalted butter your preferd amount

Cooking Instructions

    Husk and remove corn silk and place in a pot you have a lid for and just cover the cobs with cold water. Cut off the tops if they are dried up.

    Bring to a hard boil add 1/2 tsp. Salt to the water and boil for 3 mins.

    Cover and remove from heat and let them rest in water for 20 mins.

    And wa'lah nice tender but still firm delicious sweet corn. If you want your corn even more tender increase your boil time to 5 mins instead of 3 the rest time is the same. Salt and butter to your preference.
