Ingredients

  1. For gujiya
  2. 2 cupwheat flour
  3. 1 pinchsalt
  4. 4 tbsppure ghee
  5. 1 1/2 cupwater
  6. For filling
  7. 200 gmmilkmaid
  8. 200 gmcheese
  9. 4 tbspcocoa powder
  10. 1 tbspmilk powder
  11. 2 tspcardamom powder
  12. 8-10chopped almonds
  13. For sugar syrup
  14. 1 cupsugar
  15. 1/2 cupwater
  16. For glaze
  17. 1 tbspchocolate sauce
  18. 8-10rose petals

Steps

  1. 1

    Sieve the wheat flour add salt, pure ghee mix well.

    Add water knead to make the dough.

    Collect all filling ingredients.

    Grated cheese.

    In a wok add grated cheese

    Add choco powder.

    Add milk powder.

    Add milkmaid.

    Cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

    Now add cardamom powder and chopped almonds mix well.

    In a pan add sugar and water for sugar syrup and boil it.

    Take portion of dough and roll it.

    Place filling inside.

    Shape into gujiya.

    In a wok add ghee and heat it.

    Fry all gujiya on medium heat.

    Gujiya turns into golden colour remove from ghee.

    Dip into sugar syrup for 4 - 5 minutes.

    Glaze with chocolate sauce and rose petals.
