Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F
- 2
Heat the oil in your skillet to prepare for frying.
- 3
Season your chops on BOTH sides according to your personal preference with the all purpose seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder.
- 4
Dredge(coat) your porkchops on both sides with the flour.
- 5
Fry your chops in the skillet for approximately 3 minutes on both sides and place each piece in a deep baking pan. It is okay to overlap.
- 6
**SIDENOTE**Your meat will NOT be cooked all the way through at this point. That is because it will be transferred into the oven.
- 7
After you are done frying your chops. Take a sauce pot and add the ketchup, cup of water, the pinch of brown sugar, the onions, green peppers and the minced garlic. Using medium heat, heat sauce until just starting to boil stirring frequently.
- 8
Pour mixture over Porkchops in the pan and cover with foil. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
- 9
ENJOY! (Tastes great if paired with white or yellow rice)

Easy Pork Chops (Pork with Ketchup Sauce) Easy Pork Chops (Pork with Ketchup Sauce)
This is our family's favorite pork dish. Pork dishes are good during the summertime, since people are generally fatigued due to the temperature difference between the hot outdoor climate and air-conditioned rooms. This recipe reduces the amount of oil for stir-frying by cooking the onion first with a microwave. I used thinly sliced pork roast, but you could also use thigh, belly, offcuts, or anything else. I recommend you use thinly sliced meat, since the flavor soaks in better. For 2 servings. Pork Belly Simmered in Ketchup Pork Belly Simmered in Ketchup
I often buy a block of pork belly, so I wanted to cook it in a different way from the usual simmered pork belly (buta no kakuni).By letting the pork cool down completely after it's cooked, the flavors penetrate well and it becomes more tasty. If you can't spare the time to let it cool, put the cooking sauce into a small pan and reduce it over high heat and pour it over the pork when you serve. Nostalgic Café-Style Ketchup Rice Nostalgic Café-Style Ketchup Rice
My mother often made this when I was young. It only had onions, but it was delicious even when it was cold, so I loved it. It seems like this was a dish made from leftovers until payday at the end of the month, so we often had it towards the end of the month. At that time my family didn't really eat out, so I felt it was a real treat.Soy sauce is a multi-functional secret ingredient for restaurant-like dishes. It goes especially well with rice, so definitely use it with rice dishes. The margarine at the end coats the rice with oil for a soft, chewy feel. Mincing the onions makes this easier to eat. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by Doronjo mama cookpad.japan
