Mujadara Rice with Onions

Rinse the lentils and cook them with 2 cups water (about 480 ml) over medium heat.

Soak the rice in hot water for 10 minutes.

Once the lentils are cooked, add 1 cup water (about 240 ml), a bouillon cube, salt, and 3 tablespoons oil. Stir and let it come to a boil.

Rinse the rice and add it to the lentils. Stir, then cook over low heat.

Peel and slice the onions, then sauté them in oil until golden brown.

Transfer the mujadara to a serving dish and top with the sautéed onions and oil. Enjoy!
