Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbschicken breast, cut into strips (1 kg)
  • 1 tablespoonminced garlic
  • 1 tablespoonchicken bouillon powder
  • 1 tablespooncumin
  • 1 tablespooncurry powder
  • 1 tablespoonground ginger
  • 1 tablespoondried cilantro
  • 2 tablespoonsshawarma spice mix
  • 1 tablespoonred pepper paste or a pinch of chili powder mixed with tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoonsvinegar
  • 5 tablespoonsplain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1/2 cupoil (120 ml)

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the chicken strips with all the marinade ingredients and let them marinate for 4 hours.

  2. 2

    Step 1: Heat a skillet with a little oil. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer, making sure they don't overlap.

  3. 3

    Fry the chicken pieces in the oil until cooked through.

  4. 4

    Step 2: Transfer the chicken pieces to a baking dish and broil in the oven, stirring occasionally, until browned. Enjoy!
