Steps

Combine rice & water in a pot on stove. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Cover. Cook until tender, about 45 minutes. Let stand to cool.

Note: If you have a Tupperware Rice cooker, you can cook it in the microwave in 20 minutes.

Drain any excess water.

In a jar or Tupperware quick shake container, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, & garlic. Put lid on & shake to mix well.

Pour olive oil mixture over rice. Add peas & mix well.

You can serve warm or chill covered for an hour or longer, if you prefer it cold.
