Ingredients

35-40 minutes
4 servings
  • 1/2 cupphirni or (soaked grind rice)
  • 2 cupmilk
  • 1-2cloves
  • 1/3 cupsugar
  • 2-3 pinchsaffron dissolve in 2 tsp milk
  • 1/3 tspgreen cardamom powder
  • 10-12chopped almond or pistachio or cashews

Steps

35-40 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat a thick bottomed pan, add milk stir for 5-8 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add phirni/ soaked grind rice, cook till rice completely cooked.

  3. 3

    Add saffron milk, add sugar, cardamom powder, cloves.

  4. 4

    When phirni is thickens off heat.

  5. 5

    Transfer the phirni into serving dishes and chill in refrigerator garnish with nuts.
