Preheat oven to 325°F.

On a cookie sheet spread coconut in a thin layer.

Cook coconut for about 5 minutes and stir to keep from burning. If your oven cooks fast watch coconut more closely. Continue to cook to your desired browning. Take out and cool completely. Store in a ziplock bag or container. Great for ice cream topping or any dessert you may want coconut with. This give a richer nutty flavor. Enjoy!
