Hawaiian fish filets
This sauce came from one of my husband's wild game cooking books, but the sauce is so versatile that it could be used with almost any meat.

Steps
- 1
Chop green pepper and drain cans of fruit into a measuring cup adding water if necessary to make 2 cups.
- 2
In a saucepan combine and bring to boil these ingredients stirring constantly - frequently until thickened. About 15-20 minutes.
- 3
While sauce is thickening, add fish filets to frying pan with butter, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a splash of soy sauce. Cook thoroughly and cover while the sauce finishes.
- 4
Once sauce is thickened add canned fruit and green pepper and continue simmering for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- 5
Prepare rice and when all is done serve the sauce over the fish and a bed of rice.
