Preheat oven to 375.

Brown ground beef and onions.

Drain excess grease.

Combine browned ground beef and onions, enchilada sauce, soups, chile peppers, milk, and garlic.

In a greased 9x13 pan, layer 1/2 of the chips, top with 1/2 the ground beef mixture. Layer with the reaining chips, then the remaining ground beef mixture.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
