This is a traditional simple, easily digestible and quick preparation delicious dal.Goes well with all Indian breads , rice, curd rice etc
Steps

Wash moong dal

Chop onion, slit green chillies and Di e tomatoes

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard, jeera, green chillies, onion, turmeric, tomato and dal in same order. Add 1.5 glass of water and pressure cook till two whistles

After pressure is down, boil for few minutes

Add salt, chilli powder and masala Dhania powder(check for my recipe of Dhania powder) chopped coriander and allow to boil for two minutes. Add water to get correct consistency

Dish out and garnish before serving
