Steps

Peel Mangoes and cut the manges into cube pieces.
Heat a kadai. Add 1cup of water. - 2
Add the mango pieces to the boiling water.
Let it boil for 2-3 min till soft. - 3
Drain & you can use the water for further use.Heat oil in a pan.Add curry leaf & ginger and fry it for 1 minutes.

Add bay leaves, red chilies,pancha phutan and let them splutter.
Then add Asafoetida. - 5
Add boiled mango pieces, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and mix it properly until mango becomes light brown in colour.

Then add 1 cup of water, add jaggery or sugar and cover the pan over a medium heat until the mangos are properly cooked.
Add roasted cumin/ fenugreek seeds powder. switch off the flame.
