Omurice is a Japanese style dish which is an omelet containing a filling of stir-fried rice with tomato catsup. This is a favorite for kids, and my favorite, too! Omurice (Rice Omelette) Omurice (Rice Omelette)
I feel so happy when I have delicious food. The memory of those flavors lingers on afterwards. Recently, I've been thinking that it's so wonderful to be able to share the same memories with people important to you through cooking. It may look like there are many steps in this omelette recipe, but it's actually a simple way to recreate the "fluffy and creamy" texture of restaurant omelette without fail. Please adjust the cooking times in Steps 1 and 4 to taste! It's best to stop cooking the omelette when it's softer-set than you think it ought to be. For 2 large servings!. Recipe by Masa yon cookpad.japan -
Easy Japanese Restaurant-Style Fluffy and Creamy Omurice Easy Japanese Restaurant-Style Fluffy and Creamy Omurice
I made this because I love omurice with fluffy and creamy eggs on top that Japanese western-style restaurants serve! The rice is seasoned with a hint of soy sauce as a secret ingredient which improves and enriches the flavor.Milk and mayonnaise are added to the eggs to make them fluffy and rich. You can use any of your favorite toppings such as onions, green peppers, ham, or wiener sausages and enjoy different variations. If the rice sticks to the skillet, add a little oil to it. The non-stick type skillet is easier for making the eggs. The secret is to add milk and mayonnaise to the eggs. Recipe by classy cookpad.japan -
For Omurice ~ Chicken Rice For Omurice ~ Chicken Rice
Stir-fried ketchup rice is high in calories, so I always make it in the rice cooker. My son likes strong flavors, so I always add a little ketchup to the rice when it's done. I sometimes make omurice, but my son prefers the egg mixed in.This time I used ham, but if you are using chicken, slice it into small pieces, season it with salt and pepper, and cook it with the rice in the rice cooker. Green pepper browns when cooked, so I stir-fry half the amount and add it at the end for a nice, colorful finish. Of course, you can just cook it all in the rice cooker if you want! Fluffy Omurice Rice Omelette Fluffy Omurice Rice Omelette
My boyfriend asked me to make a fluffy and cream soft omurice. This is what I arrived at after a lot of practice! You can make this with vegetable oil instead of butter, but butter makes it more luxurious. It may seem difficult to gauge the timing for making the omelette light and fluffy, but once you get used to it, it's easy. Recipe by kanap0m cookpad.japan -
Scrambled Eggs for Omurice Scrambled Eggs for Omurice
I came up with this recipe for people like me, who can never manage to roll the rice up neatly in the omelette when making omurice. There's no need to melt the butter before using. When you don't have milk, just substitute with mayonnaise. If you melt the butter in the pan before cooking, it's more likely that your eggs will burn. While you can make this using margarine and mayonnaise (as indicated in the ingredients list), they can't hold a candle to butter and milk.Make sure to use salt and pepper.Season with course ground black pepper for a sophisticated taste.
