Picadillo Soup with Nopales
For meat lovers

Chop the nopales into small pieces. Boil them in water with a little salt.

Boil until the nopales no longer float, then remove and rinse them in a colander.

Boil the chopped onion, garlic, and chiles. Remove and blend them together.

Sauté the ground meat in a little oil.
- 5
When the meat is cooked, add the nopales and cook together.
- 6
Pour only the liquid from the blended mixture over the meat and nopales, using a strainer.

Add a little salt and beef bouillon. Serve hot.
