Ingredients

  1. 1 cupRadish / Mooli (cubed pieces)
  2. 2 tablespoonOil
  3. 1/2 tspMustard Seeds / Rai
  4. 1/2 tspCumin Seeds / Jeera
  5. 1/4 tspAsafetida / Hing
  6. 3/4 tspRed Chilli Powder / Lal Mirchi Powder
  7. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder / Haldi
  8. 1 tspMustard Powder / Rai
  9. 1/4 tspCumin Powder / Jeera
  10. 1/4 tspSugar
  11. 1/4 tspSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a heating pan, add 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow it to heat nicely.

  2. 2

    Then add ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds, ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds, ¼ tsp of Hing and turn off the gas flame.

  3. 3

    After turning off the flame, add ¾ tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ¼ tsp of Haldi, 1 tsp of Mustard Powder, ¼ tsp of Cumin Powder, ¼ tsp of Sugar and ¼ tsp of Salt.

  4. 4

    Lastly add 1 cup of cubed Radish pieces and give a nice mix to pickle.

  5. 5

    Once cool down, pickle is ready to serve.
