Ingredients

  1. 2 cupboiled akkha masur
  2. 1big size chopped onion
  3. 1big size chopped tomatoes
  4. 1/2 tspAsafoetida
  5. 1 tspginger paste
  6. 1 tspgarlic paste
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tspgaram masala
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  10. 2kokam
  11. 1/2 tspgrated jaggery
  12. 1 tspfreshly chopped Coriander
  13. 1 tspFresh grated coconut
  14. as neededWater
  15. To tasteSalt
  16. 1 tbsOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in to a pan add onion cook till light brown then add tomatoes, ginger/ garlic paste, Asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala,boiled akkha masur, kokam,jaggery, coconut,salt and mix it well, then add water take a lid and cook 5 minutes.

    Akhha masur dal is redy to serve it garnish with coriander.
