Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 6 tablespoonscorn flour (about 45 grams)
  2. 1/2 blockvegan cheese (such as Violife, about 3.5 ounces or 100 grams)
  3. 4 cupsgluten-free oat milk (about 950 ml)
  4. 2 tablespoonscane sugar (about 25 grams)
  5. Ginger to taste (optional)
  6. Turmeric to taste (optional)
  7. Baking powder
  8. Water

Steps

    Bring the oat milk to a boil in a saucepan.

  2. 2

    When the milk boils, add the corn flour, ginger, turmeric, and sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until the water evaporates and you have a thick but manageable dough.

  3. 3

    Add the vegan cheese and a little more milk if needed. Cook until the cheese melts.

  4. 4

    Quickly pour the mixture into a greased baking pan, mix in the baking powder, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 30-40 minutes.

    Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
