Cut all the vegetables into small size

Half fry the vegetables with salt to taste in it separately because each vegetable will takes it's own time to cook

Keep aside these vegetables

Soak the rice one hour before the cooking time

After that boil the water and add salt to taste and then add those soaked rice into it

Let the rice cook for 10-15 mins and once done strain it

Take a cooking pot(dekchi) and put half rice into it

Then put a layer of those fried vegetables upon it

Sprinkle some biryani masala on it

Again add the remaining layer of rice

Mix a pinch of food colouring with a mixture of kewda and rosewater

Now pour this mixture on the rice spreading it all over so that all the rice is covered with the colour

Pour ghee above the rice and and add some fried onion and sprinkle few pinches of biryani masala for the taste and aroma

Lastly put it to steam for approximately 1-2 minutes in low flame and the vegetable pulao is ready to serve
