Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsOthmaliyeh kunafa pastry (about 7 ounces)
  2. 6 tablespoonsclarified butter or ghee
  3. For the cream filling:
  4. 3 cupsmilk (about 710 ml)
  5. 3 tablespoonscornstarch
  6. 1 packetwhipped cream powder
  7. For serving: simple syrup, to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Rub the kunafa pastry with the clarified butter, then place a suitable amount into each cupcake mold, shaping it into a circular nest inside the mold.

    Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
