You want cake but want it fried...why not have it in the form of Mandazi

Sieve flour

Add baking powder to flour

Add caster sugar, Cardamon and Lemon Rind to the Flour
- 4
Rub in Margarine to the Flour mixture till crumby. Take you're time to ensure you are airing the mixture as well.

Beat eggs separately...and add milk to it.

Add the milk/eggs combination to the Flour mix.

Knead till you're comfortable with the texture. Cover with Cloth for 30 minutes or overnight if not in a hurry.

Knead again the mixture and leave to rise again. This time it's ready for rolling and frying.

Ensure you don't burn. Fry carefully to get a golden brown inviting color.
