Ingredients

  • 3 cupsWater
  • 7 podsGreen cardamom
  • Cinnamon stick large 1 stick
  • Sugar as preferred / honey
  • Almonds crushed 1 fistful
  • Khawa tea leaves crushed
  • Saffron strands 1 big pinch

Steps

  1. 1

    Take 3 cups water in a sauce pan. Add in the spices cardamom and cinnamon.

  2. 2

    While the water is boiling, add the tea leaves and saffron strands. Boil til tea gives a nice colour. Now add the crushed almonds.

    Boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Switch off. Transfer the drink to Khawa cups. Serve hot.
