Ingredients

5-7 minutes
2 servings
  1. 1 cuppuffed Rice
  2. 2Lijjat Papad
  3. 1/4 cupfinely chopped Tomatoes
  4. 1/2 cup finely chopped Onions
  5. 1 tspGrated Ginger
  6. 1 1/2 cupsSev
  7. 3-4 tbspgreen chutney
  8. 2-3 tbspred chutney/sweet chutney
  9. 1/2 tspblack Salt
  10. 1/2 tspchaat Masala
  11. 1/2 tspgaram Masala
  12. 1/4 cupchopped Coriander leaves
  13. 2 tsp Lemon juice
  14. For Green chutney:
  15. As neededCoriander leaves (cilantro) - 1 bunch
  16. 1/2 bunchMint leaves
  17. 2-3Green Chillies
  18. 1chopped Onion
  19. 2 Clovesgarlic
  20. chaat Masala as per choice
  21. to tasteSugar
  22. 2 tspLemon juice
  23. For the sweet chutney:
  24. Small Lime-sized ball of tamarind
  25. 5or more Dates pitted and roughly chopped
  26. to tasteRed Chilli powder
  27. Fennel powder
  28. dry Ginger powder (Saunth)
  29. 1 tspJeera powder
  30. 1 tspCoriander powder (optional)
  31. 1 pinchgaram Masala
  32. to tasteSalt
  33. Water as per desired consistency

Steps

5-7 minutes
  1. 1

    Take 1/2 cup water in a plate.

  2. 2

    Dip in the lijjat papads in it and immediately transfer into a bowl.
    by giving a shape of bowl shape it and microwave it for 45 sec to 1 minute.
    gently take it out and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare Bhel:

    Add all other ingredients in a wide bowl.
    Whisk a little by a spoon or a spatula. Taste, adjust the taste and whisk again.

  4. 4

    Garnish with sev and fresh coriander.
    Transfer this bhel to papad and Serve immediately as it might become soggy.
