Today I have given twist to idlis by adding beetroot and carrot. This colourful idlis will definitely attract to kids and are very nutritious .

Today I have given twist to idlis by adding beetroot and carrot. This colourful idlis will definitely attract to kids and are very nutritious .
Steps

First mix suji with curd and water. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Now heat oil in a wok & add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add curry leaves and switch off the flame.

Now mix this curry leaves oil and beetroot in suji mixture.

Mix nicely. Add salt and eno too.

Now grease microwave safe idli moulds and quickly pour suji mixture till 2/3 of each mould.

Steam in microwave for 2.5 minutes. Do toothpick test. If toothpick comes out clean then idlis are cooked.

Now demould and serve hot with your favourite chutney or sauce.
