Steps

Wash the chole. Add water and salt and a pinch of baking soda. Boil for 7 to 8 whistles. Cool the chole. Combine onion garlic green chillies and tomato. Blend all into a smooth paste

In a pan add oil. Add hing. Add bay leaf. Add the onion paste. Add the chole masala and red chilli powder

When the masala leaves sides Add the chole. Add salt if required.

Adjust consistency and seasoning. Cook till chole and masalas blend well.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Switch off gas.

Serve with rice.
