Ingredients

  1. 1 cupBanana flower or blossom finely Chopped
  2. 1big potato small diced
  3. 1 tablespoon Roasted peanuts
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1 bayleaf
  6. 2red dry chilli's
  7. 3green cardamom
  8. 2 cloves (1 inch)Cinnamon
  9. 1 tsp Ginger paste or grated
  10. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder (optional)
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 1 tspMustard oil
  14. 1 tbspPure ghee or clarified butter
  15. 1 tbspCumin powder
  16. 2 tbspDhaniya powder
  17. 1/2 tbsnSugar
  18. 1/2 tbsn Garam masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and washed banana flower and remove the florets.

  2. 2

    In each footate remove the longest string like a match sticks with a round head.

  3. 3

    Now cut into thinely Chopped

  4. 4

    Soak in Turmeric and salty water.

  5. 5

    Pressure cook for 2 whistle.

  6. 6

    Gently mashed with hand or laddle.

  7. 7

    Heat the oil in a pan.add cumin seeds, cardamom,clove and cinnamon.

    Add dry red chilli, bayleaf, saute it

  9. 9

    Add ginger and green chillies.

  10. 10

    Add potato fry till golden brown.

  11. 11

    Add all dry spices, salt, sugar and stirr well

  12. 12

    Nicely cook for a minute. Now add little water and cover the lid.

  13. 13

    Lid.when potatoes cook very well open the lid.

  14. 14

    Now add the mashed Banana blossom or flower to the pan.

  15. 15

    Stirring well.

  16. 16

    When all water will be evaporated and Banana flower will look dry.

    Add salt

    Add grated coconut and mix it very well.

    Cook for 3-4 minutes more.

    Add garam masala and ghee.

    Stirr and cook it medium flame.

    Ready to serve

    Now serve hot curry with steam rice.
