Ingredients

20-25 min
2 serving
  • 3Potato medium size
  • 1 cupOnion finely chopped
  • 1 tspFinely chopped ginger
  • 1 tspFinely chopped green chilli
  • 1 tspBlack mustared
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspCoriander seeds crushed
  • 1 tspCurry leaves
  • 6Cashew nuts broken
  • 500 gmOil for deep fry
  • 2 tbspOil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspTermeric
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1 tbspCoriander leaves
  • 1 tbspLime juice
  • Making Batter
  • 1 cupBesan/gram flour
  • 1/4 cupCornflour
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspTermeric powder
  • 1/4 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspAjwain seeds
  • 1 tspOil
  • 1/2 tspBaking soda

Steps

20-25 min
  1. 1

    For Stuffing- Boiled and mashed the potato.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan add mustared seeds,cumin seeds,crushed Coriander,curry leaves and satue.

  3. 3

    Add onion and satue well then add ginger,green chilli and again satue.add cashew nuts and roasted.

  4. 4

    Add salt,termeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder and satue well.

  5. 5

    Add boiled and mashed potato and satue and add Coriander leaves and mix it and add lime juice and mix.

  6. 6

    Making Batter
    In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup gram flour,cornflour,salt,termeric powder,red chilli powder, ajwain and mix it.

  7. 7

    Add water as required and mix it and making a smooth paste.

  8. 8

    Add oil and baking soda and mix well.

  9. 9

    For deep fry - Heat oil in a deep pan.

  10. 10

    Take a alu stuffing and making a ball size and coat the batter and deep fry on the hot oil.

  11. 11

    Stir continousely and turned a golden brown then switch off the gas.

  12. 12

    Garnished with curry leaves and ketchup.
