Ingredients

  • 2 cupsrice flour
  • 6 cupsWater
  • 5-6crushed green chillies
  • 2 tablespooncumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon or to tastesalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonsoda bicarb
  • as needed Oil
  • as neededMethi masala

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a big pan heat water.

  2. 2

    Add salt, cumin seeds and crushed green chillies.

    When it comes to boil add soda bicarb.

    Add rice flour slowly.

    Stir immediately with rolling stick or wooden stick and mix well.

    Put this pan on tawa, cover with lid and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.

    Khichu is ready to serve. Apply oil and methi masala over it and enjoy hot.

Step-6, when you say put on tava and cook on low flame for 5-6 mins, does the tava has to be pre-heated on low flame already?
