Ingredients

  • 3Boiled egg
  • 1medium sized Onion paste
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 tbspOil
  • 1/2 cupWarm water
  • To make Kolhapuri Masala
  • 2 tspGrated ginger and garlic
  • 1Roasted dry red chilli
  • 3Roasted peppercorns
  • 2 tbspSkinless and chopped tomato
  • 1 tbspChopped onion
  • 2 tspRoasted poppy seed
  • 1 tbspRoasted grated coconut
  • 1 tspRoasted cumin seeds
  • 1 tspRoasted coriander seeds
  • 1 tspRoasted fennel seed
  • 1 tspRoasted sesame seeds
  • 1 pieceRoasted cinnamon
  • 1Roasted cloves
  • 1 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    First Heat oil in a pan.

  2. 2

    Add grated ginger-garlic and onion and saute till it becomes brown.

  3. 3

    Add chopped tomato and saute for 1 minute on a low flame.

  4. 4

    Add all roasted masalas in it.

  5. 5

    Cool down and grind to make a powder.

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a kadai.

  7. 7

    Add boiled eggs and fry it for sometime on a medium flame and
    Keep aside.

  8. 8

    Add 3 tbsp kolhapuri masala, stirring continuously.

  9. 9

    Add salt and warm water.

  10. 10

    When oil becomes separate, add fried eggs.

  11. 11

    After a few minutes, turn the gas off.

  12. 12

    Garnish with Coriander leaves.
