Ingredients

10 minutes
3 servings
  1. 1 cuparhar daal soaked and boiled
  2. 1 tspcumin seed
  3. 1red chilli whole
  4. 1 tspcumin powder
  5. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1/4 tspginger crushed
  7. To tastesalt and sugar
  8. As neededoil

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and temper cumin seed and red chilli

  2. 2

    As it crackle add ginger paste and saute well

  3. 3

    Add cumin powder and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Saute well adding salt

  5. 5

    Pour the boiled daal and boil

  6. 6

    Serve it with rice and fried papad
