  1. 1 cupAll purpose flour
  2. 2 tbspSuji/semolina
  3. 1/4 tspCarom seeds
  4. 1/4 tspOnion seeds
  5. 1/4 tspCrushed coriander seeds
  6. 4-5Whole black pepper
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 2 tbspFresh finely chopped fenugreek leaves/methi leaves
  9. 2 tbspOil
  10. Oil - for frying

    Take a large bowl combine all purpose flour,salt,semolina,carom seeds,onion seeds,crushed coriander seeds,whole black pepper,salt,oil and fenugreek leaves.

    The texture should be crumbly.

  3. 3

    Make a stiff dough with the help of water.

  4. 4

    Cover the dough and keep aside for 15 mins.

  5. 5

    Divide the dough into equal size balls.

  6. 6

    Roll out the small size puri.

  7. 7

    Then with palm gently press each roll in mathri shape.

  8. 8

    Heat enough oil in a pan.

  9. 9

    Deep fry on low flame till golden and crispy.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with tea.
