  • 2eggs
  • 1 tbsp.water
  • 1 packagepuff pastry shells, prepared with tops removed
  • 2limes
  • 1can-14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1egg yolk
  • 1/3 c.key lime juice
  • 6 tbsp.thawed frozed whipped toppings

    Heat the oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Beat 1 egg and the water in a small bowl with a fork.

  3. 3

    Brush the pastry shells with the egg mixture.

  4. 4

    Zest 1 lime.

  5. 5

    Beat the condensed milk, remaining egg, egg yolk, Key lime juice and lime zest in a medium bowl. Pour the mixture evenly into the pastry shells.

  6. 6

    Bake for 15 minutes or until the filling is set.

  7. 7

    Let the tarts cool on the baking sheet for 15 minutes.

  8. 8

    Cut 6 thin slices from the remaining lime.

  9. 9

    Top each tart with 1 tablespoon whipped topping and 1 lime slice.
