A very healthy nutritious sabji made in South Indian style.
Steps

Peel the turai sabji, Cut into small pieces and add salt to it and keep aside for sometime. Soak the Chana dal in warm water for 1/2 hr.

Chop the onions, make Ginger-garlic-chilli paste.

Heat oil, add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, kashmiri red chilli and onions. Saute till golden brown.

Add the dry masalas. Saute till masalas leave the sides.

Add the daal and water and cover till daal is half cooked.

Now add the turai sabji.
- 7
When done add the dessicated coconut. Serve hot with roti
