Swahili Pilau recipe

Growing up in Mombasa,Coast, Pilau was everything. As a little girl I enjoyed watching my mum cook and I loved the details and the art that was involved in the preparation of this sumptuous meal.I would watch and learn as my mum prepared this delicacy and knew that I would one day be able to prepare it on my own which now almost two decades later I confidently prepare for my family.
