Fried Fish Milanesa (Marinera Style)

This is my dad's recipe and it always turns out delicious! My daughter loves it, and as a bonus, we make some fritters with the leftover batter!
Fried Fish Milanesa (Marinera Style)
This is my dad's recipe and it always turns out delicious! My daughter loves it, and as a bonus, we make some fritters with the leftover batter!
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, seasonings, egg, and vinegar. Gradually add the club soda while mixing. Stir until you have a smooth batter that's not too thick or too thin.
- 2
Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
- 3
Meanwhile, clean the fish fillets. I like to cut them in half so they're smaller and easier to cook.
- 4
Fry the fish in plenty of hot oil. Serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
- 5
With the leftover batter, make some small fritters. My dad always made these, and they were my childhood favorite!
