Soak rajma overnight with enough water. Then, pressure cook it for 4-5 whistles.

Heat butter in a pan on medium flame.

Add jeera, saute for few seconds.

Now add in onion and saute till it turns golden brown.

Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli, saute for few seconds.

Add chopped tomato and saute till they turn soft and mushy.

Add in the red chilli powder, haldi powder, heeng, garam masala and kasuri methi. Saute for 1-2 minutes.

Now add in the cooked rajma and salt to taste. Mix well. Add water if required.

Simmer it for 10-15 minutes.

Finally add chopped coriander.

Serve hot with steamed or jeera rice.
