Ingredients

  • 2 cupsall purpose flour
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 tspyeast
  • 2coconuts
  • Deep frying oil

Steps

    Prepare your coconut and make two parts coconut milk,the first should be very thick add in the yeast,second just 2 cups light coconut milk

    Take flour,sugar mix,add in the thick coconut milk and yeast then mix together.

    Start adding the 2 cups coconut milk little by little until its well mixed,knead properly,

    Add warm oil.Continue kneading for like 15 mins.

    TIP: The secret of good mahamri us in kneading.

    Make small balls & let them rise.

    Heat oil.roll the balls you made.Cut into 4 quarters.

    Fry your mahamri in medium heat.
