Ingredients

20 minutes
Serves 4-5 servings
  • Halfa chicken, cut into pieces
  • 0.35 oz (10 grams)sliced ginger
  • 4-5 clovesgarlic
  • Fresh Thai basil (as needed)
  • 1 tablespoontoasted sesame oil
  • ● Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoonssoy sauce paste
  • 1-1 1/2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonrice wine
  • 1 teaspoonsugar

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Blanch in boiling water until half-cooked. Lightly crush the garlic cloves and set aside.

  2. 2

    Add sesame oil to a pan and heat gently. Add the ginger slices and sauté until fragrant and slightly wilted.

  3. 3

    Add the garlic and chicken pieces. Stir-fry until aromatic, then add all the seasonings. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and has absorbed the flavors.

  4. 4

    Add the Thai basil leaves and stir-fry briefly. Just before removing from heat, drizzle a little more sesame oil for extra aroma.
