Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 3 cupsRaw Peanuts
  2. 1/4 teaspoonChaat Masala
  3. 1 tablespoonSea salt
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  6. 1 teaspoonRoasted cumin powder
  7. 1Onion chopped to sprinkle
  8. 1 mediumTomato chopped
  9. 1Cucumber
  10. 2Green chillies chopped
  11. 2 tbspFresh coriander leaves mint leaves chopped
  12. 2 tablespoonsLemon juice
  13. to tastePomegranate seeds
  14. 2 tbsp oil

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak the peanuts in water for 30-40 minutes and boil them in pressure cooker for 5-6 minutes until they become tender.
    Finely chop the vegetables: tomato, onion, cucumber, green chilies and mint leaves.
    In a mixing bowl take chopped tomatoes and add onions in it.

    Now heat a nonstick pan.Add two tsps of oil,sauté strained peanuts for five minutes.Allow to get cold.

  3. 3

    Cut few mint leaves and add in the bowl.
    Now add in pomegranate seeds.
    Give a nice mix and combine everything well.

  4. 4

    Season the salad with salt as per taste. Mix well.
    Now add the boiled,sautéed peanuts.

  5. 5

    Also add finely chopped green chilies and squeeze in half a lemon juice.
    Mix well and delicious masala peanut chaat is ready.

  6. 6

    Very tasty and healthy starter is ready to serve immediately.
