Recipe from Hyderabad. Chefs use to cook for nizams of Hyderabad. Some people say that once Chef were asked to cook sweet which is healthy, tasty, quick and which has fruity and nutty taste, so they boiled khubani (apricot) in sugar syrup flavoured with some rose water, garnished with seeds from khubani and served. Nizam really liked the dish and since then it’s been served like this in all occasions.
