Ingredients

  1. 2beetroots peeled and grated
  2. 1/2lt milk
  3. 4 eachsoaked almond,cashews,makhana dates and raisin
  4. 2 tbspdeshi ghee
  5. 1/4 cupsugar
  6. 1 tbspchopped nuts
  7. 1 tspcardamom powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind soaked dry fruits makhana and dates

  2. 2

    Heat ghee and add grated beetroot stir fry on medium heat till water dries up

  3. 3

    Add ground dry fruit paste fry well

  4. 4

    Add milk and sugar,let it cook on low flame,stirring in between

  5. 5

    When milk dries up add cardamom powder

  6. 6

    Halwa is ready
