Ingredients

45 mins
  • 1 cupdalia
  • 1 cupjaggery (can be replaced with dates syrup)
  • 1 tspcardamom powder
  • sliced and chopped almonds
  • 1 tbspraisins
  • 1 1/2 tbspcoconut
  • 500 mlmilk
  • For garnishing
  • 2 tspgrated coconut
  • 2 tspraisins
  • 2 tspchopped almonds

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the dalia (broken wheat) for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Remove the water remaining after soaking and add jaggery, grated coconut, almonds, raisins and cardamom powder.

  3. 3

    Then pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flames.

  4. 4

    When the steam escapes, let it cool.

  5. 5

    Then, add milk and cardamom powder.

  6. 6

    Garnish with almonds, grated coconut and raisins.

  7. 7

    Serve immediately. Enjoy!
