Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupsemolina (sooji)
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 3/4 cupfull cream milk
  4. 3/4 cupwater
  5. 1 pinchorange colour or few strends of kesar
  6. 1 tbspdesi ghee
  7. 1 tspgreen cardamom powder
  8. few raisins & almonds

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the pan with 1 tbsp of ghee.

    Add semolina in it & roast.

  3. 3

    Cook till it becomes crunchy & put it in a plate,keep itaside.

  4. 4

    In same pan,pour water,sugar milk,orange colour,green cardamom powder & boil on a low flame.

    Stir till sugar absorbed with water & milk.Add almonds & raisins.

  6. 6

    Slowly add the roasted semolina to the mixture & stir continuously with the help of spatula with other hand.

  7. 7

    Take it out on a serving plate & garnish with roasted raisins & almonds.

  8. 8

    Cook covered until the moisture is absorbed.

  9. 9

    Serve hot.
