Dice the cactus paddles into squares and boil them in a pot with water and salt (this is to remove the excess slime from the cactus). Once done, drain them. Set aside.

Dice the onion, tomatoes, and serrano pepper. Set aside.

In a pan with a little oil, add the seasoned ground beef and brown it. Once browned, add the vegetables and cactus paddles (that we previously set aside).

Next, add the spicy tomato puree and 1/2 cup of water (to prevent it from being too dry). Add salt to taste. Wait about 5 minutes and it's ready!
