Almond-coconut flowers

This sweet is made at home easily for festivals.
Steps

Heat water in a pan.Add powdered sugar. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes till the sugar fully dissolved. Reserve 2 tsp sugar syrup and add saffron strands to it and keep aside.

Add the almond powder to the remaining sugar syrup and mix well. cook till mixture looks like dough.Remove from heat. Add the cardamom powder and.mix them all well.. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness on to a wax paper to avoid sticking.

Cut into flowers shape with cutter.Coat all the flowers with dessicated coconut.Garnish all the flowers with saffron mixed sugar syrup,saffron and blanched pistachios.Serve platter garnished with blanched almonds.
