Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 cupsyellow moong dal
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. 1/2 inchGinger
  4. 1 tbspRed chilli flake
  5. 1 tspBlack pepper
  6. 1 tspChat masala
  7. 1Green chilli
  8. 1/2 cupcoriander
  9. As neededVeggies of your choice
  10. 1chopped onion
  11. 1chopped carrot
  12. 1chopped beetroot
  13. 1chopped tomato
  14. 1chopped capsicum
  15. 1 tspTurmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop all veggies and keep ready dont mix all veggies together keep it separate

    Soak moongh dal for atleast 2 hours

    Drain and add in mixie jar and add ginger and put little water to make smooth paste

    And make thick batter

    Add salt as per taste and turmeric 1 tsp just for getting a good colour

    Take a pan and heat and spread oil on that and clean the pan with any kitchen towel like we use method for making dosa

    Before making moonghlet make batter into parts in different bowl and add pinch of baking soda and mix well now spread slowly and don't make it thin keep it thick

    Add veggies one by one on the batter and sprinkle some chat masala, salt, and black pepper

    Keeping on medium flame now press all the veggies so that it gets stick to batter

    After 5 to 7 minutes turn on to other side so that your veggies gets cooked well

    Your moonghlet ready to eat cut with pizza cutter and serve with tomato sauce or green chutney
