My Grandfather passed away way back in 1976 I have one of his old cast iron skillets about 6 inches. It looks hand hammered on the sides. He had it way back then. I cleaned it up seasoned it. It's used in this recipe. We all called him by his nickname "Dude" so this is in his memory a simple little recipe for you "Dude" ......

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cuppanko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter cut into pats
  • To tastekosher salt
  • To tastegranulated garlic powder
  • 2-1/2 tablespoonschopped parsley flakes

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the butter and just melt.

    Add melted butter to the breadcrumbs, salt and garlic. Mix well.

    Mix in the parsley flakes.

    Add the crumbs to the pan and toast them.
