Grate the coconut

In a skillet put water,sugar,colour,n cardamom powder.

Place in a burner on medium heat. Keep stirring the syrup until its almost thick.

Add the grated coconut and mix inn.

Keep stirring constantly until there is very little moisture and the mixture is sticking together.

Grease a tray or board with oil and place the mixture. Flatten to your desired thickness with a rolling pin or small pallet knife or back of a spoon.

Let it cool completely then cut into shapes. You can also freeze it.
