Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey (or ground beef); 1 can corn drained; 1 can black beans (drained); 1 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis; 1/2 package Taco seasoning; to taste garlic salt; 2 cups cooked rice I used instant rice; 8 oz shredded cheese divided (I used cheddar)

4-6 servings

1 poundground turkey (or ground beef)
1 cancorn drained
1 canblack beans (drained)
1 cansdiced tomatoes with green chilis
1/2 packageTaco seasoning
to tastegarlic salt
2 cupscooked rice I used instant rice
8 ozshredded cheese divided (I used cheddar)

Steps

Brown your ground turkey or ground beef, and drain.

Drain beans and corn.

Make the rice

Add all ingredients in a bowl, don’t use all the cheese save some for the top.

Spray dish or crockpot with cooking spray, add the mixture top with cheese

Cook in crockpot on high for 2-3 hrs

Toppings sour cream, hot sauce, and severed with my Jalapeño cornbread
