Besan Ladoos

Festivals are incomplete without Sweets and in India festivals are incomplete without Ladoos. This is mainly made during Ganesha Festival. These Ladoos are made out of chickpea flour, known as Besan in Hindi. These are very easy to make and loved by elders and children.

Steps

Heat ghee in a kadai.

Roast besan on medium flame, stirring continuously.

Roast till nice aroma spreads everywhere.

Switch off the flame and remove kadai from the gas.
- 5
Add boora and elachi powder, stir continuously, make sure no lumps are formed.

Allow the mixture to cool completely at room temperature.

Make small Ladoos and store in air tight jars.
- 8
Healthy and delicious besan Ladoo are ready to serve.
