Drained dal(soak dal for 4-5 hours) add in grinder also add green chilli, hing, cumin seeds and some water as required for smooth batter. and make a smooth batter.

Take the ground batter in a bowl.stir the batter briskly for 2 minutes. add raisins and chopped cashews and salt. stir and keep aside.

Heat pan with oil for deep frying. when oil becomes medium hot add a full spoon batter and fry until vadas becomes golden and crispy. and drain on paper.

In another bowl take water and add the vadas to the water for 20 minutes. after it take a soak vada and remove access water with the help of palms.

Place these vadas in a serving bowl pour whiskey yogurt over vadas top with green sauce tamarind chutney tomato sauce and sprinkle red chilli powder, black salt, normal salt, chaat masala. and garnish with coriander leaves. and eat cool and yummy dahi vadas.
